I had the pleasure of meeting with Hue a few times before her wedding to discuss all the fun plans, and bloody hell, we laughed and chatted and gossiped and laughed some more! Hue is an absolute blast to be around, and her smile is infectious!
Hue and Andrew’s wedding day started off with a traditional Tea Ceremony, during which Andrew was subjected to a few unsavoury ‘challenges’ in order to gain access to his beautiful bride. I really love seeing all the photos from Chinese Tea Ceremonies – it such a beautiful tradition, and I love how couples are often finding ways to put their own unique, modern spin of this quintessential Chinese tradition.. not to mention, the stunning red gown!
Hue and Andrew then followed up with their wedding ceremony a St Joan of Arc Catholic Parish, Haberfield. It is such a stunning church, with the most gorgeous ornate stained glass windows positioned behind the alter.
And last but not least, the kick-ass wedding reception at Deckhouse in Woolwich. I really love this venue – stunning views, one of the best function staff teams I have ever worked with, and PLENTY of parking. Very important guys, don’t forget about guest parking! Oh and its right near the Woolwich ferry wharf so guests can even catch a water taxi home.
